Help preparing and submitting SNAP applications

We are a private service that helps New Yorkers gather documents, complete their SNAP (food stamps) application through ACCESS HRA, prepare for the HRA interview, and stay on top of recertification. We do not decide who gets benefits — HRA does.

World Jewry Yehudim Yidden Council Corporation is an independent business. We are not HRA, SNAP, USDA, or any government agency, and we are not affiliated with them.

What we do

Practical help, from first message to HRA’s decision

We handle the paperwork side so you can submit a complete application and keep your case current. Approval is always HRA’s decision.

Application help

We help you complete and submit a SNAP application through ACCESS HRA, the city’s online portal for food stamp benefits.

Documents

We give you a clear checklist of proofs HRA commonly asks for — identity, address, income, household, rent — and review what you send before it goes in.

Interview prep

After you apply, HRA schedules an interview. We help you know what to expect, what to have on hand, and how to keep the appointment.

Recertifications

SNAP cases must be renewed. We remind you and help with recertification paperwork so a missed form is less likely to interrupt benefits.

How it works

Four steps, one flat fee

Most of the work happens over WhatsApp. You send documents; we help you prepare, submit, and follow the case until HRA issues a decision.

Message us on WhatsApp

Tell us you want help applying or recertifying. We reply in English, Hebrew, or Yiddish and explain what happens next.

We collect your documents

You send photos or files of the proofs needed for your household. We check the set and tell you what is still missing.

We help you submit and track

We help you complete the ACCESS HRA application, submit it, and stay with you through interview scheduling and any extra requests.

You get HRA’s decision

HRA — not us — approves, denies, or asks for more. We help you read the notice and, if needed, plan a recertification later.

Transparent pricing

One price for the full cycle

$150

Flat fee per case cycle — application through HRA’s decision. Paid to this private business, not to the City or HRA. SNAP itself has no government application fee.

Ask about starting a case

What the $150 includes

  • Document checklist and review for your household
  • Help completing and submitting the SNAP application in ACCESS HRA
  • Help scheduling and preparing for the HRA interview
  • Follow-up until HRA issues a decision on that cycle
  • A recertification reminder for the case we handled
  • WhatsApp support in English, Hebrew, or Yiddish

It does not include a promise of approval, and it does not replace HRA. If HRA asks for more after a decision, we will tell you what that means and whether a new cycle is needed.

FAQ

Straight answers

Am I eligible for SNAP?

We cannot tell you whether you will be approved. Eligibility and benefit amounts are decided only by the NYC Human Resources Administration (HRA) using federal and state rules. We help you prepare and submit a complete application so HRA has what it needs to decide.

What documents do I need?

HRA commonly asks for proof of identity, a New York City address, who lives in the household, income (pay stubs, award letters, self-employment records), and expenses such as rent and utilities. The exact list depends on your situation. We send a checklist and review what you upload before anything is submitted.

How long does it take?

HRA controls processing time, not this service. Many SNAP applications are decided within about 30 days; some households may qualify for faster emergency processing under HRA rules. On our side, we usually help you gather and submit within a few days once your documents are in. We cannot speed up HRA’s decision.

Is my information safe?

We use your contact details and application documents only to prepare and submit your case and to reach you about it. We do not sell your information. See our Privacy Policy for what we keep, how long, and how to ask us to delete it.

Do you guarantee approval?

No. Nobody outside HRA can guarantee SNAP approval — not us, and not anyone else. Anyone who promises approval is not being honest. We help you submit a complete, accurate application. HRA decides.

Are you a government office?

No. World Jewry Yehudim Yidden Council Corporation is a private, independent business. We are not affiliated with HRA, SNAP, USDA, ACCESS HRA, or any government body. You can always apply on your own at no charge through ACCESS HRA.

Who do I pay, and when?

The fee is $150 per case cycle, paid to this private business — never to HRA. We confirm payment details when you message us on WhatsApp. There is no government fee to apply for SNAP.
